Elaine Robbins Harris, Principal Consultant of Innovative Solutions is an Organization Development Consultant. She has extensive experience in the corporate, academic and not-for-profit sectors, providing coaching, consulting and training services to a nationwide client base.

Elaine specializes in customized program design and implementation. She has worked closely with senior management in corporations, school districts and not-for-profit organizations to identify organization development needs.

Elaine assesses the developmental needs of individuals and groups within an organization relative to current initiatives and objectives, using skill assessment tools, surveys and interviews. She then designs and implements customized solutions to support development of organizational competencies.

 


She has designed and delivered workshops and seminars with a focus on Foundations of Management, Leadership Development, Team Building, Management Skills, Strategic Planning, Change Management and Effective Communication Skills.

In the corporate arena, Elaine has worked for Xerox, Illinois Bell and AT&T and has experience in sales, account management, group management and project management. She was a Senior Consultant for Perrone-Ambrose Associates, a Chicago-based Consulting firm. She supported organization development and leadership enrichment for a nationwide corporate client base; delivering management coaching skills workshops, designing and implementing management coaching and mentoring programs to address strategic objectives.

Elaine’s experience working with municipal agencies includes Consultant for the Models of Excellence Program at the Egan Urban Center at DePaul University in Chicago, providing

consulting services to city, county and state agencies. Consulting programs focused on strategic planning, team building, leadership development, problem solving and coaching skill development.

In the academic arena, Elaine supports professional learning and organizational effectiveness by presenting, The Learning Zone, a Professional Learning Program that she developed. It is a series of workshops that support educators and administrators in developing and enhancing skills to develop a strong learning community and to interact effectively with parents and community members. Additionally, the program includes a workshop and a workbook that supports parents in developing awareness and skills to participate effectively in the educational process.

Elaine has extensive experience working in the academic arena. She has worked with educators and administrators in school districts across the country. As a consultant for the Efficacy Institute, The Center for Performance Assessment and Nationals Schools Conference Institute she has developed and/or presented programs that support professional development and organizational effectiveness. Academic consulting experience includes addressing the variables that impact intellectual development and academic achievement within multi-cultural groups, supporting the development and implementation of policies and practices to positively impact teacher and student development and supporting educators in the alignment of curriculum and assessments with state academic standards.

Elaine has completed post-graduate work in Organization and Systems Development at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. She received a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Illinois State University.
