PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR EDUCATORS - CREATING A LEARNING COMMUNITY:

CREATING A LEARNING COMMUNITY is a teambuilding workshop that is designed specifically for administrators and educators.

This workshop for educators has a dual focus:
1) Support team members in creating synergy for team collaboration, effectiveness and productivity.
2) Provide team members with the awareness, skills and strategies that are required to work together effectively to create a learning community that supports the growth and development of the entire school community.
CULTURAL COMPETENCY is a series of workshops that supports teachers and strengthens the school community. The core belief behind this professional development series is that a healthy school community is an inclusive community that honors all aspects of diversity and is respectful and safe for all children and for all school employees.

This workshop series presents concepts and exercises that support educators and educational leaders in developing the awareness and skills to foster an inclusive culture and environment where the school models respect and appreciation for all aspects of diversity.

Continuous cultural shifts in the communities and school districts have impacted the need for Cultural Competency and Diversity awareness and skills.
