This workshop supports the development of effective communication skills that are critical to achievement and success in a professional environment.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS WORKSHOP:
• Provides participants with communication tools that serve as a basic foundation for productivity, clarity and collaboration
• Supports participants in developing the awareness and the skill to effectively use the communication tools to build bridges and make connections so that ideas flourish and actions occur


The EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS workshop focuses on the following communication tools:

• COMMUNICATION BASICS: focuses on the development of skills(setting objectives, organizing and supporting ideas )that serve various communication needs (feedback, presentations, meetings)

• PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT FOR EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION: Enhanced awareness of communication styles enables individuals to effectively use their style and communicate with individuals who have differing styles of communication.

• EFFECTIVE LISTENING SKILLS: Listening is a very active element of the communication process. Awareness of the five listening styles and the related listening objectives enables individuals to develop and maintain effective listening skills.

• NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION: an essential element of effective communication, non-verbal communication, is a combination of body language, facial expressions, social space, timing and gestures. Knowledge, self-awareness and sensitivity enhance our ability to effectively send, receive and interpret non-verbal communication messages.

• DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS: Specific Concepts and strategies enhance the capacity to engage in high-stakes conversations
